MEDICINE HAT, AB – Two Drugs Hat residents are dealing with a mixed 20 drug-related fees after an ALERT investigation in southeast Alberta.
Over the course of a five-month investigation, ALERT Drugs Hat’s organized crime unit recognized three properties with ties to drug trafficking.
“All three properties have been situated in residential areas all through the town and two have been in shut proximity to elementary faculties. I’m happy with the laborious work our groups proceed to do to take away these medicine from our communities,” stated Employees Sgt. Ryan Thorburn, ALERT Drugs Hat.
Search warrants have been executed on three properties on March 29. Police seized 411 grams of cocaine; 132 grams of psilocybin mushrooms; 30 grams of methamphetamine; 140 drugs of oxycodone; 411 grams of illicit hashish merchandise 75 grams of buffing agent; and $38,400 money. Two automobiles have been additionally seized as proceeds of crime.
